StudioTwenty was appointed to design the interiors of Mollis, a bold and unconventional restaurant concept by Michelin-starred chef Alex Bond, located in the heart of Nottingham. The brief was to create a space that felt playful, immersive, and entirely distinct — a sharp departure from traditional fine dining.
We provided full interior design and spatial planning services, along with planning application support. The design celebrates contrast: polished and raw, bright and moody, refined and rebellious. Neon lighting, custom artwork, and a confident use of colour create an atmosphere that’s high energy and unapologetically fun — setting the stage for a food experience that is equally expressive.
The interior layout was carefully planned to maximise flow, visibility, and theatre. Every corner is intentional, from the statement bar to the intimate booths, balancing vibrancy with comfort. Mollis is a space that invites curiosity — unexpected, memorable, and entirely its own.
